Three short movements comprise this Fantasia: Siciliana-Vivace-Allegro. In spite of its brevity, this music has emotional heft. The achingly lonely Siciliana somehow comes to terms with itself in less than two minutes. The Vivace follows with intricate and clever determination, and the final Allegro is light-hearted in its dancelike character yet maintains an underlayer of gritty resolve.
