Høstedans is a folk-classical crossover band formed in 2020. Featuring Scandinavian folk-dance music from the 18th-20th centuries, the ensemble performs and has recorded original arrangements of traditional dance tunes for children, as they are danced in Junction City Oregon. Høstedans also plays arrangements by the Danish String Quartet, and original arrangements of living folk fiddlers, such as Swedish artists Lena Jonsson, and Åke Wann. In their spare time, Høstedans members compose, arrange and commission new classical music inspired by folk traditions. Purchase their first album Børnemusik, volume 1 on the HOME page.

Høstedans joined the JC Scandia Children Dancers in August 2024 to provide live music at the festival from Børnemusik vol 1. A true delight seeing young children dance to this music!
